Brown-Jackson-Robinson Family

On behalf of the Brown-Jackson-Robinson Reunion Committee, we would like extend an invitation to the descendants of John and Helen (Brown) Jackson to attend the 2021 Brown-Jackson-Robinson Family Reunion. This special event will be take place in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, July 30th through August 3rd. Please mark your calendar for what we will feel will be an exciting reunion.

We are hoping that everyone will recognize the importance of reconnecting with old and meeting new family members and will do their best to attend the reunion. We believe that you will be pleasantly surprised at what the reunion committee is putting together to make this a memorable experience for all who attend. Our goal is to have 10-15 families and 5 -10 new BJR Reunion newcomers. Like our previous reunions, the upcoming reunion will be a time of remembering – rejoicing – recreating – renewing – and refreshing, but our major purpose is to unite and reunite and to recall the history and traditions of the Brown-Jackson-Robinson families.

The reunion committee has worked hard to put together an excellent package at a reasonable price. Registration Fees cover the family excursion, banquet, reunion shirt, and reunion operating expenses.

Registration fees can either be paid in full or monthly at your convenience . Final Deadline to register and pay is June 1, 2024

REUNION HISTORY

In 1987, Richard Robinson, Addie Jackson, Ollie Williams, and Inez Hanson were discussing old family memories at his annual Labor Day picnic. During the conversation, Richard decided that he would gather all of his family members from across the country for a family reunion. With the help of his sisters, children, and nieces, the first reunion was held in Vicksburg, MS in August 1988. Who knew many, many years later that his vision would lead to wonderful years of what we call family reunions.
